Concerns

A number of items have already been identified as areas of concern regarding the Chamcook Watershed.

 

A few concerns are listed here:

 

  • The ongoing blue-green algae issues

  • The ban on recreational boating

  • Water Allocations/ Industrial use policy: Town of St. Andrews, Atlantic Salmon Federation, Bayside Port

  • Setbacks

  • The dam: policy of operation and establishment of lake water level protocols

  • Restrictions on recreational activities
