Hello,

As a member of the Chamcook Watershed Landowners' Association you are
invited to attend the international symposium on cyanobacteria in lakes,
to be held Saturday, October 25th at The Algonquin Resort in Saint
Andrews By-The-Sea. CWLA is proud to be organizing the event in
partnership with Eastern Charlotte Waterways and the New Brunswick
Alliance of Lake Associations. The event has been made possible by the
generous support of New Brunswick's Environment Trust Fund.

The visiting speakers include Dr. Ken Wagner, the owner of Water
Resource Services, a consulting company focused on water supply
protection and lake management. Dr. Wagner has a Ph. D. in Natural
Resource Management from Cornell University. He is a former President of
the North American Lake Management Society and the current
Editor-in-Chief of Lake and Reservoir Management.

Also scheduled to speak is Dr. Holly Ewing, a professor of Environmental
Studies at Bates College in Maine. She has co-authored a collection of
academic papers that concern cyanobacteria blooms throughout New
England, with a focus on the same species and environmental conditions
found here in New Brunswick.

The agenda has been attached for your interest. There is no charge to
attend the event and it is open to the public. Lunch will be provided to
